Kaleidoscope - presented by Jason Mraz

FEATURING LIVE PERFORMANCES BY SAN DIEGO AREA PERFORMING ARTS STUDENTS FEBRUARY 17 AND 18 AT CALIFORNIA CENTER FOR THE ARTS;

TICKETS ON SALE FRIDAY AT 10 AM

The Jason Mraz Foundation today announced “Kaleidoscope,” a musical performance by  San Diego area arts program students February 17 at 7 PM and 18 at 3 PM  at California Center for the Arts in Escondido.  Tickets will be available via JasonMraz.com this Friday, December 15th at 10 AM PT.

All organizations participating in the performance are beneficiaries of grants from the Jason Mraz Foundation, whose mission it is to shine for inclusive arts education and the advancement of equality.  Students of all abilities and backgrounds from the following programs will perform songs from Mraz’s catalog along with the GRAMMY-Award winning musician/songwriter and recent runner-up on “Dancing With The Stars”:

“Over the past few months, I pushed myself creatively, and physically more than I have in decades,” said Mraz, referencing his “Dancing With The Stars” run.  “I revisited what it was like to be a beginner in the performing arts, to immerse myself in something completely new, finding strength, joy, self-acceptance, and pride as I learned and grew every week. That is the power of the performing arts, and that is the opportunity I want to share with these students as we rehearse for this collaborative concert experience.”
