Halestorm’s fourth studio album, Vicious, saw a return to the group’s hard rock and metal roots. After conversations with the band, management, and label, we decided that this album was our opportunity to double-down on the band’s longtime supporters while also showcasing the band’s prowess to respected rock critics.

We embraced bloggers and influencers in the hard rock space who have long been loyal to the band, to engage them at the beginning of the album process.
We focused on expanding the band’s coverage to outlets dedicated to musicianship.
We set goals to expand the band’s coverage beyond the hard rock realm to larger general and more mainstream music critics.
